1. Introduction
Oak & Marble Stewardship LLC (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) provides non-invasive headstone cleaning and gravesite maintenance services in Florida. By hiring us, you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of Services
We provide cosmetic cleaning and non-structural maintenance only.
Our services do not include structural repairs, stone resetting, major leveling, or restoration requiring a licensed monument or stone restoration professional.
We reserve the right to decline services if the site is unsafe, excessively damaged, or restricted by cemetery regulations.
3. Cemetery Rules & Permissions
The Client is responsible for ensuring that our services comply with cemetery regulations.
If required, we will coordinate permission with the cemetery, but ultimate responsibility remains with the Client.
4. Cleaning Methods
We use industry-recognized safe cleaning practices including:
D/2 Biological Solution
Soft natural and synthetic brushes
Low-pressure rinsing (never high-pressure washing)
We do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, wire brushes, or abrasive tools.
5. Condition of Memorials
Many stones are decades or centuries old. Due to age, weathering, or hidden instability, some surfaces may:
Flake or shear
Lose lichen-stained lettering
Reveal underlying cracks or fractures
While we use gentle methods, we are not responsible for pre-existing weaknesses that may become visible after cleaning.
6. Weather Limitations
Services may be rescheduled due to:
Heavy rain
Lightning
Extreme heat
Hazardous site conditions
We will notify the Client and schedule the earliest available date.
7. Photos & Documentation
We provide before-and-after photos for client records.
We may also use non-identifiable images for business marketing unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
8. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted methods include US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe and chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay International logo.
Unpaid invoices after 30 days may incur a late fee.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to service.
Refunds are available only if no work has been performed.
10. Liability Limitations
Oak & Marble Stewardship LLC is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Cemetery rule enforcement
Weather-related delays
Acts of vandalism before or after cleaning
Structural failures unrelated to cosmetic cleaning
Our work is cosmetic and non-invasive.
11. Service Area
We serve St. Lucie and Indian River counties in Florida. Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard radius.
